Old School Children's Ministry Songs...A Trip Down Memory Lane

Time for a little Friday fun.

If you grew up in church in the 70's and 80's, you may remember some of the old school songs that we sang.

Thought today I'd list some that I remember.  Though they may not be used very often today, they helped us love God and have fun at church when we were kids.

As you read some of these titles, you may recognize some of them and find yourself humming or singing as you travel down memory lane.

Here we go...

Father Abraham

This Little Light of Mine

I've Got the Joy, Joy, Joy

Deep and Wide

The Devil is a Sly Ole' Fox

Give Me Oil in My Lamp

If You're Saved and You Know It

Jesus Loves the Little Children

He's Got the Whole World In His Hands

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Ya...Praise You the Lord (two teams seeing who can sing the loudest)

Stop and Let Me Tell You

I've Got the Joy, joy, Joy, Joy...

He's Still Working On Me...

I Am A "C"

The B-I-B-L-E

O Be Careful Little Eyes

Jesus Loves Me This I Know

I’ve Got Peace Like A River

My God is So Big, Strong and Mighty

Rise and Shine And Give God The Glory (Noah’s Arky Arky)

O’ How I Love Jesus

This Is The Day That The Lord Has Made

I Have Decided to Follow Jesus

King of the Jungle

Zaccheaus Was a Wee Little Man

I'm in the Lord's Army

Jesus Loves Me

Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes

Do Lord

Everybody Ought to Know

Go Tell It On the Mountain

The Wise Man and Foolish Man

Praise Him, Praise Him

I Shall Not Be Moved
