Satanic Coloring Books for Kids in Schools?

"The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy.  My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life."
- John 10:10

The Satanic Temple in the Orlando area has requested permission to distribute their coloring book in local schools.  The coloring book depicts children performing Satanic rituals and drawing pentagrams.  You can see the coloring book at this link.

The Satanic Temple is a loosely-organized national group that has formed an alliance with atheist groups to make a statement against the practice of allowing Bible distribution.  Their goal is for either Bibles to be banned from being distributed in schools or that they have equal access to distribute Satanic materials like the coloring book.

One things is for sure...we are a spiritual battle for the heart and soul of the next generation.  We must go all out to reach kids.  Remember.

'In the race to a child's heart...the first one there wins."

Children's Pastor's Conference (Notes from the 2 Sessions I Taught)

I taught 2 sessions last week at CPC in Orlando.  Here are the notes.

Multi-Site Children's Ministry (CPC notes and resources)

Here are the notes and resources from my "Multi-Site Children's Ministry" session at Children's Pastor's Conference in Orlando and San Diego.

An Inside Look at the CPC Orlando Church Tour (Pt.2)

I led the Children's Pastor's Conference church tour this past week in Orlando.  Three great churches opened their doors for an inside look at their facilities and ministries.  Yesterday we looked at the first two churches.

The third church we visited was Living Water Fellowship.  The church started 12 years ago and is now averaging 1600 in attendance, with 350 children.

They are in their fourth sanctuary, which was built with the youth of their community in mind.  They turned their first building into a children's building with a slime factory theme designed by Wacky World Studios.

KIDZ INC uses slime as a ministry tool, but firmly believes Christ is their focus.  They take pride in mastering the art of “sharing space” with their full time pre-school.  They also have mid-week discipleship with Royal Rangers & Mpact.

Here are pictures of the facilities.

An Inside Look at the CPC Orlando Church Tour (Pt.1)

I led the Children's Pastor's Conference church tour this past week in Orlando.  Three great churches opened their doors for an inside look at their facilities and ministries.

The first church was First Baptist of Orlando.  Their Children’s Ministry exists to honor God by partnering with parents to transform kids into spiritual champions.

Over 500 kids engage in programs that are Bible-focused, kid-friendly, fun, and relevant.  Their Special Needs ministry is a large, multi-faceted, family-empowered ministry that serves children, teens, and adults.

Here are the pictures.

The next church we visited was First United Methodist of Orlando.  They recently moved into a new 82,000 sq ft. award winning ministry building of contemporary design.

The children's area is known as The Light House.  Here are the pictures.
