One of the best shifts I ever made was to include parents in our children's new believer's class. We started requiring parents to attend the class with their child.
Every month we see not only children come to Christ through this class, but parents as well. This past weekend we had 32 children attend the class along with their parents. Several parents begin to weep during the class as we shared the Gospel. One mother told me afterwards that God was using her child to bring her to Him. She is going to be baptized with her daughter in a few weeks. If you don't include parents in your children's new believer's class, you're missing a great opportunity to reach them.
