As a Children's Ministry, the larger you become the smaller you must become. In other words, you must find ways to make sure children are known and feel valued. One of the best ways is through Small Groups where kids have the same leader and friends in their group each week.
This past weekend, we tried an additional way to make kids feel special as they entered the building. We used a new digital puppet that was created by Little Mountain Productions. Kids loved it when they walked in and were greeted by an interactive puppet that called out their name and then carried on a conversation with them.
