4 Reasons You Can't Afford to Stop Reading as a Leader

As a Children's Ministry Leader, it's vital that you read consistently.  Why?

Reading keeps you current.  What you read last year won't suffice in the rapidly changing culture you minister in.

Reading keeps you teachable.  The minute you think you know it all, you're in trouble.  Reading helps you keep a teachable spirit.

Reading keeps you growing.  Growing leaders are always in school.  Reading stretches you and expands your knowledge.

Reading keeps you disciplined.  It takes planning and intentionality to be a reader.

Needs some reading ideas?  Here are some books I have read recently.  I read 15-20 books a year.  I intentionally read books that will help me grow in different areas.  Some as a leader...some as a Christ-follower...some as a parent...some in my relationships...some in Children's Ministry.
