RELEVANT CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

There are a lot of things you can do in children's ministry.  But I want to challenge you to remember that first and foremost, we are called to reach kids and families with the Gospel.  It's the most important thing we do.

It's the very heartbeat of God.  He wants to redeem those who are lost.  It's why Jesus came.  Luke 19:10 tells us that Jesus came to "seek and save the lost."

Don't get sidetracked.  Keep the main thing the
main thing.  Keep sharing the Gospel with kids and families.  Keep reaching out to those outside the walls of your church. 

God has placed you in children's ministry for a special reason.  We know that the vast, vast majority of people who come to Jesus do so as children.  You are sharing the Gospel with people at the most critical time in their life.  If we don't reach them now, the chances of them ever coming to Jesus is slim.  We must reach them while we can.

At the end of the day, it's all that really matters and it's the most important thing we do.
