Children's Ministry Health Assessment

How healthy is your children's ministry?  Here's an assessment tool that can help you find out.  No matter what your result is, there is always room for improvement.  The healthiest children's ministries are those that constantly look for ways to improve. If you'd like a pdf copy of this, feel free to email me at dalehudsoncm2@gmail.com and I'll send it to you.

p.s. There are 3 categories below where you can get multiple points - spiritual steps, engagement and parent engagement.

Hi Kristin, to clarify, in the 3 categories spiritual steps, engagement and parent partnership you can points for each thing you are doing in that area.

Thanks! I did not see that said anywhere! That helps!

How do you measure the engagement section, clear mission statement, and personally known by a caring leader?

Hey David, great questions.
-Engagement - do a survey among the kids, watch how they are responding during the service, see if they can remember what you taught
-clear mission statement - ask your volunteers if they can say it or articulate it, personally known - how many kids are in a small group lead by a consistent leader
