I am always on the lookout for great guest follow-up ideas.
There are lots of ways you can follow up with guests as you seek to get them to come back for a second visit.
A gift card. A free coffee. A book written by the senior pastor. A Bible. A free engraved pen. We could go on and on. All of these are good ideas. But recently I came across a GREAT idea for getting families to come back for a second visit. It is so good that I wanted to share it with you today.
The idea comes from a preschool ministry director in the Dallas area.
When the mom returns to pick up her child, the preschool director invites her to meet for a cup of coffee at a local coffee shop that coming week. The director said that the vast majority of mothers say, "Yes."
This gives her an incredible opportunity to get to know the mom and begin a friendship with her. Out of this, the director sees a high percentage of guests return for a second visit.
This would definitely be worth trying at your church if you're looking for a way to see more guests return.
Your turn. What other ideas or strategies do you use to see guests return? Share with everyone in the comment section below.
