How did Jesus teach? One way was using stories. He was the master storyteller. Parables = stories. Kids respond so well to stories. Have you ever noticed when you are teaching kids (and adults for that matter) that when you start telling a story, you grab their attention. Then when the story is finished and you start "lecturing" again, they seem to zone out. Maybe we should do more storytelling to communicate truth. Train your leaders in the art of storytelling to effectively share truth with kids.
