This weekend we noticed that our 1st-3rd graders are not engaging in worship as much as we want them to be. We are going to tweak some things in our worship. How did we discover this? Not by watching the praise team, but by watching the crowd...the kids.
When the Secret Service is guarding the President, they are not watching the President. They are watching the crowd for signs of anything unusual. Make it a practice to watch your kids for signs of disengagement. Tweak those parts of your service or program to make sure you are always capturing their attention.
