Safety and Security...A MUST!

One of our top priorities is the safety and security of the children. We follow very strict policies and procedures to ensure the children are kept safe. Sometimes parents get upset when they lose their security tag and have to fill out a missing tag form, show their driver's license, look up their info.in our system, etc. But that's okay.

We must walk guard closely. I trust you go the second mile as well in this area. The story below is a vivid reminder of why we must have safe and secure environments for the children God has placed in our care. Thankfully this church in Missouri is committed to the safety and security of their children. It's a non-negotiable. You must always be prepared.

If you'd like a copy of our safety and security policies and procedures, feel free to contact me and I'll be glad to send it to you.

Thanks SO much for posting this! We recently switched to a security check in system (vs. the pencil and paper method). Like any change, it was met with some resistance, but it's stories like this that makes me confident and I will NEVER regret the decision to keep our kids more safe.

There usually is some resistance when change happens just because it is change. You made the right decision. Keeping our kids safe is always the right thing to do.
