"Life in 3D" Lesson

Looks like 3D is back, improved, and here to stay. The number of 3D movies being made continues to escalate...many of them movies for kids. And now there are 3D TV's that you can watch with the same glasses you use in theaters.

But guess what? In the next few years ,we will see the evolution of 3D that will NOT require glasses.Eventually 3D will be the norm for most programming...no matter what kind of screen you're looking at...television....computer...phone...etc.

In this video interview, James Cameron (Director of Avatar) shares with Eric Schmidt (CEO of Google) the 3D wave that is coming. How is it possible? Listen to James and you will understand.

Speaking of 3D, we are constantly looking for ways to share the Gospel with kids by using culturally relevant connections. We had a great response a couple of months ago when we created a lesson using silly bandz.

This past weekend, we shared a lesson with the kids that we created using 3D glasses and images. The lesson was called "Life in 3D." The kids not only walked away with a pair of 3D glasses, but they also walked away with a 3D presentation of the Gospel. It was awesome to see them connect (that happens when you tap into their culture) and realize that life with Jesus is so much cooler and clearer.

If you'd like a copy of the lesson and images we used, feel free to email me at dalehudsoncm2@gmail.com and I'll send it to you. I can also give you the link to the online store where we got the 3D glasses for a great price.
