Do You Need Some CEO's?

If you're like our team, you're gearing up for Christmas services...which can mean you need a lot of extra volunteers. We have a tendency to look at this as a challenge rather than an opportunity.

This is the time of year when we may need a lot of CEO volunteers. (Christmas and Easter Only)But...it's also one of the best times of the year to grow your kidmin volunteer team. Here's how...
  • Partner with the entire church to invite people to do a one-time serve at Christmas. 
  • Make sure the CEO's have a great experience when they are serving. Pair them up with an experienced, positive volunteer.
  • Ask your current volunteers to share with them the blessings they receive from serving.
  • Ask your current volunteers to start building a relationship with them.
  • Thank them for serving. (note, small gift, gift card)
  • The week after they serve, contact them and ask how their first experience went.
  • Invite them to join your team on a regular basis.
We have used this process to see God turn many CEO's into permanent volunteers. Try it out this Christmas.  You'll be amazed at what God does. Many of our best volunteers are former CEO's.
