I am in San Diego at the Children's Pastor's Conference. Today I hosted the pre-conference church tour. We visited three churches in the San Diego area. One of the best ways to get fresh ideas for your Children's Ministry is to visit other churches. Here's an inside look at what we saw.
First stop was at Friends Church. This year the church is celebrating their 100th anniversary. With over 5,000 people attending each weekend, their target demographic is young families. In 2006, they moved into a new 2,000 seat worship center with 15 rooms especially designed and created for their Children's Ministry. They use a large group/small group ministry model to help kids become authentic Christ followers. Here are some inside pictures I took on the tour.
