Why You Should Replace Your Earbuds with Earplugs

    Stats show that the average person hears over 100,000 words per day.

    Where do these words come from? 
    • 44.85% from television
    • 10.59% from radio
    • 5.24% from phone
    • 8.61 from print
    • 26.97% from computer
    • 2.44% from computer games
    • 20% from movies
    • 1.1% from recorded music
    We have little to no time when we aren't "plugged" into the noise.  We're so plugged into the noise that we're bored and uncomfortable without it. 

    But if you want to hear God's voice...then you've got to schedule time to replace the earbuds with earplugs.

    Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still and know that I am God."  When was the last time you unplugged for an extended period of time and just listened to God?
