The True Sound of Learning

What does learning sound like?  Some would say it sounds like a teacher talking to kids who are sitting quietly and listening.

But actually...that's not what effective learning sounds like.

Effective learning sounds like...

Kids talking about a question the teacher asked them.

The yells and cheers of kids playing a game that ties into what they are learning.

The same key learning phrase being repeated several times during the lesson.

Kids singing a song they made up that illustrates what they are being taught.

The rustle, clanks and other noises that emanate from a hands on activity.

Funny voices and sound effects coming from kids who are acting out the Bible story.

A video playing.

Kids teaching each other what they've learned.

What does learning sound like in your children's ministry?  If it's the true sound of learning it will go way beyond just the teacher's voice.
