How to Build Your Volunteer Team

One of the most important things you do in children's ministry is building a volunteer team.  Without volunteers, there is no children's ministry.

As I talk with children's ministry leaders across the country, they tell me their greatest need is volunteers.  How to bring them on the team.  How to equip them.  How to encourage them.  How to invest in them.

Do you find building a volunteer team is a challenge?  Help is here.  We are offering a live online conference focused on helping ministries build volunteer teams.  It's called "Building Volunteer Teams" and will be held Saturday, February 18th.  All you need to attend is an internet connection.

We'll be covering 3 big areas of building a volunteer team.

#1 - Enlisting Your Team - I'll be sharing how to bring volunteers on your team.  I'll share the strategies I used to build a team of over 2,000 children's ministry volunteers.  These are proven strategies that will work in any size church.

#2 - Empowering Your Team - Gina McClain will be sharing how to transform your volunteers into leaders who own the ministry.  Learn how to move from being a doer to an equipper.  Gina is the children's ministry pastor at Faith Promise Church.  She is dynamic leader who will inspire and equip you.

#3 - Encouraging Your Team - Frank Bealer will be talking about how to encourage your volunteers.  He will share how he encouraged his volunteers at Elevation Church.  Frank was the family pastor at Elevation Church before stepping into the role of CEO of Phase Family Centers & Executive Director of Leadership Development at Orange.  He is a visionary, passionate leader.  He will get you excited about investing in your team and provide you with practical tools to do so.

There will be opportunities for live interaction and Q & A during each session.

You can register for the conference at this linkRegistration includes an ecopy of my new book entitled "The Formula for Building Great Volunteer Teams."  This book contains 150 pages of proven strategies to build your volunteer team.  The first 10 people who register for the conference will also receive a hard copy of the book.
