I'm blogging from the Kidmin Conference in Chicago through Monday. This morning Brian Haynes, Pastor and author of Shift, spoke about "Jesus...the Living Water." Here are some notes...- Ministry is about Jesus.
- Jesus is the Living Water that fills our souls. (John 7:37-38)
- Living water became thirsty on the cross so you would never have to thirst again.
- Jesus is the Living Water we turn to when we are thirsty. (Revelation 22:1-17)
- Don't trade Living Water for water from dirty cisterns.
- The next generation looks at others to see what walking with Jesus is all about.
- How thirsty are you?
- Life can be a desert.
- Turn to the Word of God. (Psalm 119:113)
- Take time to be still before God. Silence is a gift that we don't have much of.
