1. Placing them where you "need" them instead of where they are gifted.
2. Asking them to stay over and serve an extra service.
3. Placing them in a position where they can't attend the adult worship service.
4. Cutting into their family time too often.
5. Not taking time to make sure they're relationally connected with you and those they are serving with.
6. Not giving them any time off.
