Did you know that kids can share their faith if you will equip them to do so?
We know that children are the greatest mission field in the world. And they can also be the greatest missionaries in that field.
So how do we equip children to share their faith?
Here are some proven ways you can see children get excited reaching other children for Jesus.
Teach them that it is every Christian's responsibility to share their faith with others. Share these verses with them.
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." Mark 16:15
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8
And I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ. Philemon 1:6
Train them how to share their faith. Give them a simple, effective way they can share the Gospel. I created a special teaching series that does just that. It's called The Blab Lab and it teaches kids to "blab" about their faith. Each week the kids make a special tool that they can use to share the Gospel with others.
Here's an example.
The tools are crafts that the kids enjoy assembling.
I have personally seen kids use the tools to share their faith in a bold way.
A 3rd grade girl put the tool together and then took it to her public school. The class had a "show and tell" time that day. This brave girl that we had equipped to share her faith, stood in front of her entire class and shared the Gospel with them using the tool.
You can also encourage kids to invite their friends to church. Here's a simple strategy that works for this. Create invite cards that kids can pass out to their friends, family members, team mates, neighbors, etc. At the end of your service or class, ask the kids who would be willing to take a card and use it to invite someone to church.
Pick 2-3 kids that have their hands up. Bring them up front. Ask them the name of the person they are going to invite with the card. Place the invite card in their hands and then have a short time of prayer. Ask God to anoint them and use them to bring someone to hear the Gospel. Using this strategy, I've seen kids bring their friends to hear the Gospel the next week.
And one week we had a lady show up for church. Someone asked how she heard about the church? She pulled out an invite card and said a kid who was at her crossing guard corner gave her the card and asked her to come.
Another child invited his entire baseball team and other friends to be his guest at church. He brought 26 guests that weekend!
Another child's father was in ICU. The child took the tool we created that week and hung it on his dad's bed in ICU. He then used the tool to share the Gospel with his father who was in serious condition.
Children can be bold to share their faith when you teach them that the Holy Spirit is with them. He will do a great work in the hearts of people as the kids share their faith.

Equip children to share their faith and you will be blown away by what God does in them and through them.
